I ventured out for the first time in 3 days today and noticed a much different mix on KMCQ. Today it was very 60s seasoned with 70s. There was a very KIXI-ish Sinatra track in there as well. Four songs segued back-to-back with no imaging in between. As Al Kooper once sang: "There's somethin' goin' on but I don't know what it is..."

KMCQ has changed the mix

Obviously most of their music mix is not automated anymore like it appeared to be. I requested a song "Sweet Cream Ladies" and it was granted at the 5 o'clock hour the other day.
For some strange reason today they played "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee at about noon-ish and that threw me off.

I think their Facebook page said they've had problems because of the weather. I wouldn't worry too much about it though because they'll probably get back to normal soon.
Would be funny if they saved all the Christmas music for the snow days.
