KMCQ

finallyescaped said:
How does KMCQ perform these days? Anyone have any ratings info?

Really no way to know, until they subscribe to the PPM again. They have been putting SOME less-commonly played songs back on the playlist, ever since they re-imaged as Q-104.5. 104.5's strong point was playing those "OH WOW" rare hits, until Mr. Kelly started programming the station.

Not totally correct...non-subscribing stations still show in the Arbitorn data that subscribing stations have access to. The 6+ numbers are no longer available for public distribution.

Be interested in seeing what progress KMCQ is making...

Outstanding, another KMCQ thread.

Let's get these out of the way:

1. Kokomo
2. Jay Kelly sucks
3. Kokomo
4. Corporate radio sucks
5. Kokomo
6. I want to hear Convoy and other songs nobody cares about
7. Kokomo
8. They would be better if they had Robin and Maynard
9. Kokomo

Did I miss anything?

It's actually a bonafide question. Did Charles Dreifus at Queen Cities make a good decision by replacing a management team that generated a several month stretch of 2.7 ratings with Trila Bumpstead (Ohana) and her new format?

BTW, part of the deal included a new processor, but that has fallen by the wayside.

I think there have been complaints about their sound quality. ;)

I live north of Seattle, so I'll never been able to hear KMCQ over the air unless some Canadian station goes off air.

Again, Kokomo is a KJAQ/KRWM song. NOT a KJR/KMCQ/KISM song. 1958-1980 would do it for me (KMCQ).
