KMGS-1160 AM - Highland Park, TX

I was just curious if anyone over their in Alabama can pick up the new AM near Dallas, TX on 1160 AM at night. I'm in Arkansas and have been picking it up for several nights. I figure that they are not changing their patterns at sunset, thus it's coming thru like a freight train here in Southern Arkansas. The station is just jukeboxing right now, billing itself as "Smokin' oldies - Magic 1160. Playing a mix of disco, oldies, R&B and 80's pop, it one of the more unusual music mixes I've come across, but I like it. Check it out. If you hear it, post replys here.

Here in NW Alabama, it comes and goes. I caught the ID and a few songs off and on. Tonight may not be the best night for AM DX, since WWL 870 (which had been blasting like a blow torch lately) is barely audible.

I am in Hattiesburg, MS tonight and had trouble picking up WWL. Maybe they have are at a lower power tonight for some reason.

I'd heard about this station from the Dallas board, but haven't DXed it.

They got a website?
