Unless they've signed off and another station is booming in over 1160, they appear to be airing yet ANOTHER talk format, as predicted. All this talk on the AM dial, but is anyone really listening???????

With this being First Broadcasting's freshman effort to actually run a station under the pretense that it won't be flipped for a quick profit, and the first that they'll sell spots for, and the first that they have hired a staff to run, does anyone think that they'll fall flat on their faces due to lack of a marketing campaign? We saw 990 start with good intention but no marketing; same for 910. It just don't work if you don't spend the money to get the word out!!

As of 8:45 when I tuned in it was back up, but KSL normally puts a good signal into Dallas If you have a good radio and antenna.

You got to be kidding me. I was getting used to the music on that station and now another talk format? Why? The more talk radio gets launched, the more I listen to Internet and satellite radio.
______________

If its talk, country, or in Spanish - I could care less.

And KSL, as well as a lot of other Western stations, are DX treats for early rising DX'ers.

Yes, I agree too. There are some pretty decent formats that could be worth listening to (on both the AM and FM dial) than those three overrated formats.
______________
