I think 940 KYNO would of held on to their talk format a little longer, they could of grabbed the programming that KMJ is going to lose at the beginning of Jan. Then their rating would of skyrocketed into Oblivion! TOO BAD!!!!
I think KYNO's move were a direct result of CC's move. Only station talk station with less listeners than KYNO might be KJZN. 4th out of 5 stations in the same format would be an insane waste of a big signal. Last place only makes sense for KJZN, poor signal, has tried and failed in other formats, and correct me if I'm wrong running nothing but TRN all day, nights and weekends is free.
I still wonder about a KFIG/KYNO hybrid on 940. Imus early mornings, in to Paul-Handel or Howard-Guy-TonyD-Bohannon and ESPN all night. With of course all of the Play by Play. Heck if your not on a budget bring back Bill Mcewen.
