Kmj

KMJ in 3rd place with a 6.1 behind KWYE (6.4) and KBOS (6.3). I guess their demise was greatly exaggerated by some.

KMJ in 3rd? It's been awhile since they've been in that spot. Once the sale goes through I'd expect they'll be looking up wishing they were #3 again. 96.7 did record a 4.9 so the gap is closing.

What is interesting about this book is that Y101 continues to trend up. Wasn't this a market that didn't embrace non-urban top 40 or Hot AC? Would appear that Classic Rock is trending lower.

I don't think Classic Rock is trending lower but that KKBZ is rising and taking listeners away from KJFX thus evening out the Classic Rock ratings. Love them or hate them,I know a lot of people that tune into Bob & Tom then at 10am turn to KKBZ for music.KKBZ,I wish would model after KILO but KJFX needs to expand their playlist from 100 songs,it's became a joke among us that we bet on the first song played after Bob & Tom,it's the predictable.

Here's the tricky part of the ratings, KMJ-FM had a 0.7, now if you include the simulcast shows from that, maybe KMJ is virtually in 2nd place.

I do wonder what will happen when Bob and Tom move to CC (103.7), I hope KJFX goes local and as far as music they are fine maybe actually play more older music, late 60s, a void on FM (Rock), BTW KYNO is KOOL I hear songs I haven't heard in years on local radio, The Blaze should be different from the Fox, next generation Classic Rock.

I think this was meant on another topic

No really first with a 6.8. That's how it would be if KMJ handled their simulcast like every other AM/FM newstalker in the country, but then again those stations usually just sell the spots on a show once.

In the past, KMJ was usually right around a 7, had no direct compeditors and was number one. Both KMJ'S and KALZ together have a 11.7. I can only assume a lot of listeners who never tried the AM dial (and therefor never really heard talk radio) must be falling in love with Rush and Sean.

And yeah KYNO is awesome. Are they not subscribing to Arbitron again because I see no KYNO, KJWL? That must be it no way KJWL fell that far, right? If it did I'd go KYNO FM/AM, might just make enough to build that analog studio with talent John wanted.
