KMKY-AM goes silent

I can tell you KMKY is back on air... first time in awhile i noticed it was tonight, 11-7 around 923pm AK atop the channel for a bit

Has Radio Disney returned from the dead? What were they airing?
It has been airing Punjabi language programming for a couple years now. Just decided to keep the calls. Not a bad course of action considering they only get uttered once per hour.

I’m sure if Radio Disney still had a viable on air presence, those calls would have been transferred elsewhere.

1310 here is a mish mash of KLIX and KMKY sometimes, wityh other times, one or the other leading and sometimes KZXR when they forgot to power down

I'm 150 miles from Twin Falls, so yes, it's KLIX and KMKY often here in the mountains north of Boise. My AM DXing is very much nil due to the lack of an SDR (and my 909X is broken). I have no time to DX until I get an SDR, an external AM antenna, and an FM antenna...
My TEF-6686 is OK whenever I am away from the house, but it's so cold at night I don't bother.

The resumption of operations filing states that the station returned to the air November 2. There's also a reduced power notification as well, but there's no indication of the actual power at which KMKY is currently operating. Irony of ironies, November 1 was the day I left Emeryville, within sight of the KMKY towers, to go to Santa Cruz.

Why does the attachment in the resumption of operations refer to KMKY as an FM station? It also shows the application as being dismissed....strange.
