KMNY 1360 going Progressive Talk?

It looks like KMNY 1360 may be going to progressive talk on July 1, 2008.
It's not official yet but this site says it's a done deal:

Can 1360 legitimately be called a Dallas signal? I'm almost 2000 miles away, but from what I can tell, the 1360 transmitter is just east (maybe southeast) of Fort Worth and the 50-kW day pattern is a teardrop aimed west. The 1 kW night pattern comes from the same site and is a modified figure eight beamed east and west. Since Dallas is roughly 30 miles east of the site, it wouldn't appear that, despite the great Texas soil conductivity, either the day or the night signal would be competitive in Dallas, though in Fort Worth, the daytime signal would be gangbusters and the night signal might be OK. Would somebody who lives in the area please comment?

The tower is located in Grand Prairie, a western suburb of Dallas.

When the COL was changed to Hurst, the transmitter location was moved from the west side of Fort Worth to Grand Prairie (in the same general vicinity of KKDA and KFXR). The 50 KW day signal is very good in all of Dallas county and it's much closer in than 30 miles -- probably 10 to 12 miles. Even with the substantial reduction to 890 watts at night, it does cover the densely populated area of Dallas county. I live well to the north in Collin county. KMNY is solid during the day but vanishes as night.

Even though the radio-locator maps are for ``entertainment purposes'', the coverage shown for KMNY is reasonably accurate.
