KMNY-1360 pays homage to KXOL-1360

Nifty little find on Tuesday morning. KMNY's talk host Brent Clanton played some long-lost clips from the old KXOL of the JFK assassination coverage, and spent all of his show talking about the assassination and KXOL's role in it. Nice tying in of the old and new.

It was interesting. Bud Kennedy of the Star telegram was his guest.

>>>Sounds interesting. Any chance of a repeat or an archive link on their web page?

Maybe KMNY can put out the program on a CD (with more original broadcast excerpts not played on the air this past week) with proceeds either hurricane victims or benefitting Special Olympics (which the Kennedy family has long supported).

Sure odd living 2 miles from the Naval Air Station in west Fort Worth
and finding 1360 completely gone at night after their transmitter move...
