KMOX Route 66 show

Wow! I was hearing oldies on KMOX early this morning, and I was wondering how long this show's been around? Sure sounded good in West Central Indiana.

I'm listening to it right now. A great show, very well done!

I'm in Charlotte and can hear KMOX even though it's right next to WBT. The signal has been solid here this evening with very little fading.

KMOX isn't directional, they must cover the country well from right in the center of the USA.

I love this show, I think it is one the best oldies shows out there. It is great that it is on KMOX, which is a regular
catch here in Chicago after sundown. I also like the fact that KMOX is live and local on weeknights as well. I listen
too it quite often here in Chicago. I lived in Springfield, Il. for a couple of years and I listened to KMOX quite often.

I wish there were more stations like KMOX and WGN that ran live, local programming overnights. It seems that almost
every other 50,000 watt station is running Coast To Coast AM.

caught the show here too the other night...i'm over by columbus ohio...dublin to be exact:)

HELLO CLEARCHANNEL... are you listening?? We had a GREAT show here in Louisville on WHAS with Joe Donovan playing the oldies from his own personal record collection. Sadly they canned Joe in favor of an overnight talk-show, and canned that a couple years later in favor of Coast. You can listen to clips of this at http://www.lkyradio.com/WHASairchecks.htm mid-way down the page under the heading:

Joe Donovan plays the oldies in September, 1977 on WHAS' "Saturday Night Revival"

John Quincy has done an incredible job of creating this and companion sites on the history of radio in Kentucky-- including the famous WAKY!
