KMOX?

I'm not sure if KMOX carries the Cardinals these day but sports (baseball and football) used to deliver KMOX TSA ratings in both Memphis and Nashville ...The numbers were always small but before professional sports teams located in Memphis and Nashville, St Louis and Atlanta sports teams had significant fan bases in Tennessee.

KMOX hasn't carried Cardinals baseball for the past 5 years. The team actually purchased 50% of KTRS (550) and had been broadcasting all games on that frequency. It's not a great signal, however, and the Cardinals have announced they'll be moving back to KMOX in the upcoming season and selling their share of KTRS.

I will say that I live in the area that can't get KMOX because the skywave and groundwave cancel each other out, but I'm pretty sure the Cardinals were on KMOX this past season. I'm thinking it was their first season back on KMOX after leaving for KTRS.

You might be right, Kent. I moved to Nashville last Dec, from
St. Louis, and must be off by one year. Lol. At any rate, the KTRS experiment was a bad one.

The Cardinals returned to KMOX in 2011, not 2012.
