KMPH 840 . . . back again

The valley is getting comical when it comes to the AM radio dial. Over the weekend KMPH 840 had no audio for at least 2-3 full days , this has happened at least one before within the last 6 months ,even KYOS 1480 was "just noise" Sunday late in the day.
I know ,no body is there but a PC running the show.

Beside waiting for a listener to call ,or waiting for an alarm to call a person at homre ( do they get paid extra to be called at home ,they should ,if they were in a union they would ) and report the problem doesn't the station listen to themselves at least once a day ? This would have caught the KMPH problem.
Maybe the GM, PD ,sales manager ,chief engr ,contract engr, office help ,etc. if they have a local person could listen once a day ,too easy a solution ?????

Like I said it is comical and in todays high tech world people will not put up with it very long.
They will say good-by to over the air broadcasting.

KMPH is being handled by a liquidation agent from Columbia, MD. If they are on the air at all, it is to preserve the license during liquidation.

So is 103.9 The Hawk.....at least for now.

I didn't notice that KDJK was off the air, always comes in around the neighborhood near Ft. Washington and north to Copper and Friant, an area that is shadowed from the signal of 103.7, one thing about the bluffs Valley floor stations have trouble in those areas, especially if the station is near Laton.

I don't see why KMPH is off the air and some weaker AMs such as KFIV 1360 are on, I'm surprised CC didn't try to get it and put KFIV programming on it, in other words do a swap like KYNO did from 1300 to 940, I can(did) pick up 840(when they were operating) in Fresno all of the time during the day, KFIV not at all.

The 103.7 HD usually blocks the entire 103.9 signal here in West Central Fresno to the point I cannot hear it at all (not even a little bit) Now I can hear it. It's not a matter of the KDJK going off the air, it's simply being able to hear KDJK without being completely blocked by the HD signal. I even have that problem with KDJK, when going thru Oakhurst. Hell, the 104.1 KHKK signal is blasting away there.
