KMSM Butte - Still silent

I noticed Montana Tech's student radio station filed on 12/30 (late) to renew their license for the silent station. When KMSM shutdown there were several news stories about the closure, for example:

After 45 years of broadcasting, Montana Tech’s radio station was informed last month it's going off the air.

The student body could not seem to afford it but the community felt a kinship to the station.
