How about the radio turning to cheaply ran Pandora juke boxes , but with commercials of course. However, with deep playlist per format. iwould listen to that more than the thing they got going on today.

So, since the PD of 97.5 checks in here occasionally...you do know that this "LIV9 LIFE. 7OVE MU5IC" may be the dumbest thing in the history of Phoenix radio, right? The Lamptimer makes more sense than that crap.

If past experience is any indicator, said PD should be along shortly to explain how what you call the "dumbest thing" is actually the greatest thing, and that they're wiping the floor with bit players like Kiss, Power, and 101.5.
Aren't 103.9 and 96.9 their more direct competitors as well?

KZON and KZZP are Top 40, KKFR is Rhythmic, KMVA, KEXX, and KMXP are Hot AC... By the way, this is also how all are listed with Arbitron too.

KNRJ is somewhat on the rhythmic side. A few of the current hip hop hits they use are the uptempo bass remix versions. Many of the classics from 90's and 00's were rhythmic hits at the time and are often still heard on rhythmic stations.

They are listed as Rhythmic but do not report... It really doesn't matter what you report, it's what you really are.
