KMVA Movin 97.5 .. .........

I do finally have to say that they sound very disorganized, and truthfully speaking, I enjoy KZZP more now. I don't have a problem with the pop rock on Movin - as a matter of fact, some of the pop rock selections they play sounds great, and I believe they have potential, but there's just something a bit off with the arrangement of music and playlist choice. The fact that they are a multiple decades / generation hits station only makes the disorganization sound worse, because now you're throwing in some off back in the day stuff as well. Jay Sean "Do you remember" no longer sounds right, especially when you have two slow pop rock or a pop rock and alternative song following, then "sending all my love" by Linear. I'd say that their previous rhythmic lean was WAY better, especially due to the fact that even the old school / back in the day hits fit in with the rhythmic sound. Now I feel like they should replace some of their choices of back in the day hits with Chumbawamba, or Len's "steal my sunshine" or something, or Lenny Kravitz, AND ADD ROB THOMAS!! Hopefully they eventually get it right. They could easily become the traditional adult top 40 (pop/rock leaning) or just go back to being the exclusive rhythmic they were playing the back in the day hits as well, that seemed to be working.

Anyway, judging by what I see on yes dot com, seems like they are slowly trying to transition towards more pop rock, but oddly there's still a lot of rhythmic content in there. The back in the day stuff is what's beginning to lack.. I guess that's just a weekend "block party" double play thing now. Thinking about all this silliness going on, I have a suggestion in mind, format-wise, that I believe would've made more sense than what's going on now, but I'm intentionally not going to bring it up until I get to London, that way anyone who has a problem or wants to behead me for suggesting it will have to first purchase a British Airways ticket... and go from there  ;D

Well who knows - maybe they see how what they're doing at KMVA will benefit in the long run; a bigger picture that I'm still too blind to see. One thing's for sure though, "MOViN" has got to be changed. Keeping "MOViN" with their current sound, well.. that's almost like taking a Shell and converting it into a Fresh & Easy, but keeping the Texaco name it originally had.
