KMX Patriarch-Doc Miller

It is with a heavy heart that this announcement is made.

Last night around 10:30, Doc Miller passed away. Doc Miller was the Patriarch of the KMX Family for 30 years. Over that span, Doc was a true radio professional. He brought in those who knew radio and knew how to do good radio and he let them do their job. Doc will be missed by all of the KMX family that graced the halls of the black building in downtown Enterprise.

Doc's family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow, so sorry to hear this. I never worked at KMX, but was always greeted warmly with a big smile and handshake every time
and anywhere we met. He always called you by name. He had a great laugh and always made you feel at ease.
He was a true competitor with a great spirit for competition. A real pioneer of this market has passed.

KMX was my first radio job. I have fond memories of "Doc" and all the people that worked there at the time. My condolences go out to the family.

Excellent employer. Excellent broadcaster as was evidenced by his being honored as ABA Broadcaster of the year. He was always very good to me and my family. He was fun to work for and fun to be around. I miss him, always will. I am very thankful to have thousands of good memories about Doc. He helped many people during his life. He is with God and God will keep him, no doubt about it.
