KMXA, possessor of the tone heard 'round the country on 1090 late in 2023 in an attempt to diagnose problems with its nighttime directional pattern, is back to normal operations, according to a restoration of operations filing today. More recently, KMXA had been operating nondirectionally with 125 watts at night. Licensed operation is 50 kw daytime, 500 watts nights, DA-2.
