I thought they were changing owners and formats. Is this just temporary?

I dunno, but their programming hasn't sounded this good in years.

Apparently their new format is a simulcast of 97.5. Maybe 1100 or 1310 can make it a trimulcast someday soon. :-D

their website is still working LOL - Maybe its an internet only station :)

I listened to the Joey Reynolds show from 12 to 6 a.m. when I couldn't sleep. He has a good parade of guests for that hour of the morning. Better listening than coast to coast and the wackos.

Is it true that KFNX is going to adopt this new radical programming?

All static, no commercials!

That is actually not far from the truth. The braintrust behind what was once the fighting peacock has started a internet radio station. Look up talkmasters.com and you will find the much beleaguered Jim Hanemaayer and his partner in crime Mike Persson. They have brought the same programming you know and....well you know to the world wide web.

"The third most listened to Internet radio station"...
"Over 50% of web users listen to Internet radio"...

NBC 1190 already took over the Phoenix market, now Talkmasters will. Just wait and see. Hey, those guys had to unpack their boxes SOMEWHERE.
