Once... I think. I seem to remember a 2-3 years back finding dead air on the frequency when I was in South English soon after the station was purchased by the latest owner. I have never actually heard it broadcast anything other than silence though. I am not sure if the station even still exists.
Northpine.com reports the latest in the KMYQ saga with the Jan 22nd blog entry. In October, the FCC deleted the KMYQ license, citing inadequate proof the station was on the air. Now, the licensee is appealing that decision.
Hey, they even bought two dozen tacos for the tower crew! What more proof do you need than that!
