Barber would be crazy to leave his current situation at Cox...even for mornings at Shamrock. =)
When you're talking companies with a track record of longer career runs...you're talking more Cox than Shamrock.
But then again...Barber is a morning guy by nature. But my money is on Barber staying settled at Star. He sounds great on middays, has management that respects his track record and resume and is probably doing alright money-wise.
My prediction...if anyone in the market ever went to A.B. to try to steal him from Cox...they'd be hard pressed to get him. I think he likes Tulsa and wants to retire here. The best way for him to do that is to stay in one place. And I think he's a smart guy who knows that.
If your situation ain't broke...why try to fix it?
