KNAV tries yet again

KNAV has once again applied to resume operations on channel 22. This latest application is for a 10 kW ERP digital broadcast, with the 170-degree coverage pattern typical for DFW LP stations.

Looks like they finally figured out channel 29 wasn't going to be available, and are finally giving up on moving to VHF channel 12 (good news for KXII DXers).

If/when this is approved, we can add RF 22 to our "soon to light up, perhaps" lists, along with RF 2 (KSFW), RF 20 (KSEX), RF 28 (KHPK) - and someday possibly RF 24 (KQFW).

It looks like the Christian+spam-to-secular ratio in DFW will continue climbing for some time ::)

...plus RF-25 (K25FW) may eventually adorn the airwaves with shopping. So many wonderful OTA choices, eh?

It occurs to me DFW could end up with virtual channels 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29. Ten in a row!

I wonder what the record is?
