KNBQ off

I was in Pacific County this weekend and noticed that there is no longer any Christmas music on 98.5. They appear to have gone dark for now.

They're moving their antennae to the KWAO/KFOO tower on South Mountain.

Wait for continuous Thanksgiving music next...

Problem is there's not much music to go with Thanksgiving, but Halloween is coming up before then. There's lots of music to go with that. Btw Bill, do you even promote Timber Country on 106.1? Everything I've seen from you or heard on-air only references 94.7.

You would have to be a really big fan of "Alice's Restaurant"! :)

We've been surprised at the popularity of this format... on either frequency.

And to think some on this discussion board think radio playlists are too small now!

It's exactly why I don't listen to Classic Rock/Hits/Oldies stations with those tiny playlists. I grew up with it. I heard each and every of those songs 20 bazillion times already. I can't be nostalgic for something that never went away. So I play alternative rock stations. At least there's NEW music to break up the redundancy.
