I wonder if KNBR's ratings in Sacramento are higher too? KCTC's got the national ESPN radio feed while KNBR's got the local feed. KNBR can be heard in Sacramento pretty well.
I've enjoyed listening to the Giants this season on KNBR here on the East coast thanks to XM. You only get the Giants feed when they are at home but once they got in the playoffs then XM gives the KNBR feed for all games. I now find myself switching back and forth with ESPN radio so I can hear John Miller as well as Kruk and Kuip from CSN Bay Area on KNBR. I fell in love with John when he was the play by play guy for the Orioles which is the local team in my area. He went from one orange and black team to another.
Won't happen, but they'll be able to sell off this great month as part of their Fall, and it will set them up for a good selling spring as folks anticipate a great team again.
