So, the latest appears to be that KNBR won't be going full-time from Levi's Stadium after all. It has now moved into the Daly City building with the rest of the Cumulus SF stations---the same building where Bonneville has its cluster:

So, the latest appears to be that KNBR won't be going full-time from Levi's Stadium after all.

Why am I not surprised? When this first came up, I said this:

They can move back whenever the sponsorship runs out. Or it's a distraction. Don't look at the talent we just fired. Instead look at this new studio we have.

They've also changed their website domain from KNBR.com to TheSportsLeader.com, and emphasized "The Sports Leader" in its branding.

I was more shocked that they eliminated the dial numbers.

Call letters were only important to station owners. Listeners need to know where they can find you. It’s been that way for decades.
