KNBR off air?

What happened to KNBR? Normally the Giants midnight replay would be happening but right now I hear nothing on 680. I'm currently not in the immediate Bay Area but I haven't heard a peep from KNBR for almost 30 minutes, and other Bay Area stations are coming in clearly.

Probably some kind of transmitter maintenance that can only be done with the station completely off, such as ATU work, transmission line work, switcher work, etc.

Yea, I had it on around 2 a.m. and then it went to just nothing and stayed that way for a while...It is back on now though...

I don't think the transmitter was completely off. The SYNC LOCK indicator on my radio came on instantly, indicating a strong carrier. There was just no modulation. For some reason I think KNBR was transmitting an unmodulated carrier, possibly for hours.
