KNBR's Damon Bruce said what?

Did anyone else hear Damon Bruce's comment on KNBR last night?
"Rudy Gay, incredible basketball player, unfortunate last name."

Okay, the comment was neither extremely noteworthy nor extremely outrageous. Normally I'd forget about something like this a few seconds after hearing it.

However in this case, my question would be what is Tony Salvadore going to do? Terminate Bruce for saying something that? I mean, it's something that COULD offend SOME people. Yes, it was juvenile, and yes, he probably shouldn't have said it on the air. Never mind that it was probably the first time this has happened. Remember the Krueger incident?

If Tony Salvadore is consistent, Damon Bruce will be terminated for this incident, no warning or second chance given...unless...Salvadore is only concerned with appeasing the teams on the station...yeah, probably not gonna happen, since Damon wasn't ranting about the Giants, Warriors, or 49ers.

I heard it and found it funny. Probably should not have said it, but if elaborated on, the last name is unfortunate since he would be a victim of ridicule, not necessarily cause of what the actual words means.

Yeah, but Tony Salvadore has no sense of humor. From what I heard, the clip the morning show played making fun of Felipe Alou was funny. Krueger's "Cream of Wheat" comment was funny too, especially given how angry at him fans were for wearing out the bullpen that season. The unfortunate thing is that Damon Bruce doesn't know nearly as much about baseball as Krueger. For example, he supposedly was saying yesterday that Tyler Walker should be sent down to Fresno, but the team can't do that because he's out of options and would have to be exposed to waivers.
