Anyone have an idea why it is taking the PD so long to decide on a morning show? That Jamie White girl signed with another station, and a few ratings periods (trends, PPM) have come and gone. It seems the longer things get delayed, the more the station will struggle. Word around Met Park is that Andy Savage has expressed interest in returning to the End, but I don't think he'd be a good fit if the station doesn't shift to a more classic alt playlist. I am just wondering why it is taking so long to make a decision? Seems to me the longer you wait, the longer the station will continue to suffer.

I also think Kevin & Bean would work.
I wish they would split the 90's music ratio they play now in half and replace with classic 80's modern alt. rock that still sounds good today. Although, KMTT plays a lot of the 80's alt. gold so maybe they don't want to step on them. As far as new music KNDD currently plays, I think it sounds great. Alternative rock from many current artists today seems to be influenced by 80's and 90's (minus) the grunge era.

I don't have insider knowledge since I don't directly work for Entercom. But I do have access to the numbers, and they haven't been good for the End in quite some time. That in turn makes it tough for the sales team to find advertisers. The advertisers who target the 18-34 male audience who can afford to buy commercials in this economy have been spending their money with KISW. Still a good thing for Entercom, but it highlights the struggles of the End.

I agree. Jodi was such a great sidekick for Andy and picking her up to join Marty was one of the best decisions the Mountain has made in quite some time. They haven't necessarily dominated in the ratings since they signed her, but I think it is only a matter of time before they do. Getting a new PD as well should speed up the process.
Hearing Andy back on the air would be great, but if he hasn't had a chance to "audition" like others over the last few months. he is probably not being considered for the gig.
