KNFX 99.5 BCS

A thunderstorm came through a few weeks ago in College Station, and ever since, KNFX "99.5 The Fox" has been sounding very strange. Stereo is intermittent and there's tons of sibilance and high-frequency aliasing. It's also distorted, quiet sounds more so than loud. Whether or not this is related to said thunderstorm is anyone's guess, but the timing seems too good. It sounded fine earlier that day.

Wonder if lightning cooked something halfway, or if they're on their backup. Knowing iHeart, this will probably not be fixed for a very long time, if not never, and I don't think they're very concerned about it.

Anyway... if anyone else who's able to receive KNFX noticed this, I'd definitely like to know.

That's odd. KNFX antenna is on the rooftop of the plaza where their studios are at. If lighting hit their antenna, I'm sure someone would have noticed.
