KNGY 92.7

Have they move to their new tower in Mt Sutro? Cause when I listen to 92.7 from US101 its kind of spotty when I head towards Monster.com (Candlestick) Park.

I think they may have moved back to their original transmitter site over the past few days, if I understood the post in ba.broadcast correctly.

And it's Monster Park, sponsored by Monster Cable (not Monster.com, which is a job-hunter website).

Engery still has a lot of work to do. I barely listen to it anymore due to over playing of Beyonce', Ciarra and the rest of the thouse tracks with diva vocals/trance sounding rythmic patterns. Plus, the guy who voice overs on the drops sounds annoying. I think I heard him on some Mix 106 drops the other day.

Someday I hope they'll give it a "Bay Area Sound." They have tried to bill themselves as local but the music sounds nothing like San Francisco Bay Area dance music. When Party 92.7 entered the picture, I really hoped they would pick up on some of the freestyle, latin house, and some of the house and trance tracks that were big in the area on stations like Wild 94.9.
Would have been a great move. But instead they just introduced a bunch of unknown music. Also there is a ton of Bay Area talent in dance music. I wish the station would give airplay to the local talent which is producing songs better than what they are playing on the radio right now.
