Knicks and Rangers are Playing at the Same Time

The Knick game is on 98.7 FM while the Rangers are on WBBR 1130 AM. I assume that this will be the arrangement when there are conflicts in the future.

I suspect that if one team is at home, the home game will stay on WEPN-98.7 with the away game on WBBR-1130 (which, as WNEW, was ironically the Rangers' and Knicks' radio flagship from the middle 1970's to middle 1980's).

Of course, back in the 1970's (as I noted on the thread "Knicks/WNBC-AM"), if the two teams were playing at the same time, only the team playing at home would be broadcast on radio. The other game would not air at all on radio.

Unless the road game was the Knicks at New Jersey or the Rangers at Islanders, WOR-9 would likely televise the away game.
