KNIK 87.7 fm switches formats

KNIK fm 87.7 Anchorage, AK- dumped smooth jazz/blues format after more than a decade to Real Country - classic 70s 80s and 90s country classics. This makes for the 5th country station in the Anchorage market joining KXLW 96.3 The Moose, KAYO 100.9 Country Legends, KBRJ 104.1 K-Bear, and 107.5 fm KASH country.

KNIK 87.7 fm also broadcasts on 98.5 fm translator in Anchorage.

Which isnt legal because KNIK is a TV station using the audio portion for radio

I think that 98,.5 was tied to 1020.. is 1020 doing talk or is it country? (that anyone can verify, not just guess.. i swear i tuned into 1020s stream one day and heard country)
