I'm writing from out of town and am wondering what the local perception of KNIT 1480 is, what of it's history and how does the signal sound? Just curious as I've heard the station has quite a history in Dallas radio. Thanks.

Years ago 1480 was KBOX - a country outlet if I recall correctly. It was quite popular but fell on hard times when FM rose to prominence in the late 70s and early 80s. For a while it simulcast KMEZ's easy listening/ AC format. It was a business talk format for a while. Then it went spanish and has been that way for years. The current programming is better, but still not great.
