Im betting theyll be shedding 104.5 , so who has room in their stable to pickup another FM?

Maybe Radio One could move into town and grab the station. But then again there's always Entercom who might eye it.

I heard Viacom's buying it to put it on MTV's new reality show "Pimp my station" :)

I was out of town for almost a week, but this was the only thing that happened here. I was hoping that 100.3's new tower would we online when I got back, or 106.1 went FM Talk.

Anyway, I noticed the list of creditors, and I can place them all except one.

IRS --> Always pay your taxes!
FLINN BROADCASTING --> Hegwood LMA'd 100.9 in Jackson, MS from them
VIRGINIA FAITH BROADCASTING --> Hegwood bought 102.1 in Virginia Beach from them
OPPORTUNITY CAPITAL --> Capital raising
MMG VENTURES --> Hegwood transferred control in On Top to them
CITADEL BROADCASTING --> ???
WINNER BROADCASTING --> Hegwood LMA'd 107.9 in Virginia Beach from them
ARBITRON --> Ratings
BMI --> Pay the music licenses!
NEW ORLEANS broadcaster, TOM KENNEDY --> Original GM

The On Top <-> Citadel connection has to be in New Orleans, since they both have stations in this market.

IMHO, if I were Citadel, I woulda bought 104.5 instead of 100.3. The tower is already set, and they could have probably gotten it for a fire-sale price.<P ID="signature">______________
