I notice in the latest trend that the 2 VH stations (JACK & BOB) took a hit. Am I correct in tmy thinking that WKOI's flip was a big mistake? They have more than halved there audience. Could a flip be on the cards?

Well, having two VH stations, on small signals (three actually)
was not a planned event, obviously. While Jack fared batter that
WOKI's Earl, the real issue is that Jack is syndicated and cannot
really fire any shots or nitch itself like a local Jack (Nashville,
being a good example.) Sadly, while Oldies is declining nationally
(as id Classic rock, Rock, etc.) a freshening of SCC's Oldies stations
could have probably kept the ratings where they have been for a few years.
That being said, SCC figured it was/is best to be proactive.
