That's not the only station, loads of others have trouble now. I think somebody from Salem was/is on these forums, maybe Chuck can give us an update.
We are back on the air. Unfortunately, a tree fell down across the lines that feed electricity to the building. That killed the power. We are on back order to replace the generator in the basement. The old one is gone, and we awaiting arrival and installation. Once that happens, we will still be able to broadcast, when the building is hit with a power failure. It went down Monday morning shortly after 8AM. The transmitters were on with nothing to feed them. KKHT actually fared a little better because we used the stream of KWRD, our sister station in Dallas, also known as 100.7 The Word. I wanted to get KLUP's stream out of San Antonio, however; we had no internet access. We couldn't get access to the KNTH transmitter site due to icy conditions.

You mean KLUP had no Internet access? How did you rebroadcast 100.7 The Word from Dallas if you had none?
Regardless what the situation is I hope you're staying safe. KLUP was apparently off the air during the bad weather anyway.
We have a computer at the KKHT and the KNTH transmitter sites. We can use those compters to air other Salem stations if we need to do it. The internet was not available at the KNTH transmitter site. Not only that, we could not reach it due to road conditions. KNTH is located near FM1960 and Kuykendahl Rd on the far north side. However, it was available at the KKHT transmitter site. KKHT's tramitter site is 35 miles east of Houston. I contacted the PD at the Dallas station and he made sure he had a legal ID prepared that covered both stations.
