KNWS/Katy-Houston is now Azteca America.

on 51.2. Thought that the Azteca programming was supposed to take over the primary channel, but instead seems to have landed at the .2 subchannel. Is this temporary until the sale is complete, or are we keeping the Informercial TV 51?
 
no changes yet at sister station KLDT up the road in DFW. I just did a rescan and only have KLDT 54.1 with no subchannels. We have Azteca America on analog 44 and KATA-LD 50.3.
 
It seems like they started with the national Azteca feed because there was no local commercials but then they replaced it with a simulcast of 10.1.
I also noticed yesterday that they are now identifying the station as KNWS AzAme Houston 51.2 Katy, TX, so maybe they are still gonna keep the infomercial channel on 51.1 for a while.
It will be intersting to see what they will do with KUVM-LD since they have a CP to move to CH.40.
 
I checked the TOH ID yesterday for 51.2 and it has KUVM Houston as it's ID with the 51.2 position. Also shows channel numbers for Comcast, digital, and AT&T U-Verse. No mention of KNWS or Katy, Texas anywhere. Call Arizona. We have an illegal. ID that is.
