KNWS, KLDT sale to Una Vez Mas approved

Are they off the air now? I was able to get them but haven't been for the last week.

As of last night I'm still getting KLDT. Their programming hasn't yet changed.

They're down to six hours of non-infomercial programming:
5:00 - Cosby Show x2
6:00 - Roseanne x2
7:00 - Cold Case Files (the reality show, no connection to the CBS show)
8:00 - Street Court x2
9:00 - Judge Hatchett x2
10:00 - Cheaters
10:30 - Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen

Expect to see the programming continue to deteriorate until the station finally flips to Spanish language programming.

I remember when KXTX/39 was sold to Telemundo at the start of the last decade -- as the sale got closer and closer, the English language programming got cheaper and cheaper, becuase what's the point of investing in programming for what is basically a lame duck station. I can't imagine the situation will be any different for KNWS today.

Now for KLDT in DFW, it's a moot point -- there's no real programming on that station anyway, and hasn't been for years.

It's only been up for about 2 weeks as they have updated it frequently.

And now KNWS is full power. Not that it matters.

They've tweaked it, but it's basically the same note they've had on their website for months.
It does not change the fact that they will be changing to spanish-language programming soon.
