KNX Tribute station The Mellow Sound

This is a station that's been streaming for 7 years, but I just found out about it recently. They also run The Odyssey Files with Christopher Ames, which are features about odd stories (the one I heard last night was about an octopus who was taught to play "Baby Shark" on a keyboard). The stream is on RadioGarden and on their website:

So far I've heard a lot of songs I've never heard before: Jim Croce's "A Long Time Ago", Bonnie Raitt's "Streetlights", Billy Joel's "C'etait toi (You Were the One)", Sailor, Birtles and Goble and a bunch of others. It's a nice variety. They also play what seem to be the old KNX-FM jingles.

The Odyssey Files were an original feature of KNX-FM in the 70s, with Christopher Ames. I believe he syndicated them for a while, as well.

This was originally a webstream called KNXFM93.com, but when Audacy began simulcasting KNX on FM in 2021, it exercised its rights on the branding. The people in charge of the stream changed the name to The Mellow Sound in January of 2022.

Several KNX-FM veterans are involved, including Christopher Ames, Mary Price, Doug Brown and Steve Marshall.

And yes, those are the old KNX-FM jingles:
