KNXT Vasila-Fresno TV 49

Since KNXT is being sold to Vista Broadcasting from the Roman Catholic dioses of Fresno. What will happened to this TV station? Will they become a PBS affiliate? Religious?

One of the board members of the new non profit thats buying KXNT is engineer Tom Driggers

Nearly all cable systems carry EWTN television and its Spanish-language counterpart. So a local Catholic diocese running a TV station is likely an expense that's not needed.

We should note this call sign for many years was on CBS Channel 2 in Los Angeles, taking radio station KNX and adding a T for Television. When the FCC relaxed rules about using the same call letters in different markets, CBS was able to take the KCBS call sign found on AM 740 in San Francisco and use it with a -TV suffix in Los Angeles, matching KNBC and KABC-TV in corporate imaging.
