KNXV ABC-15 A Team on Sunday

Over the last few Sundays, I noticed that ABC-15 main anchors Katie Raml and Steve Irvin have presented the Sunday night news. Even Chief Meteorologist Bill Bellis does weather reports. They started doing this a few years ago when Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy were hot. Recently, Rebecca Thomas was the solo weekend anchor.

Again, I think this is a great move. Especially today (Sunday 23 May) because of the Lost series finale. Get the A-Team out there when the most eyeballs are watching.

Ummmmm........Ratings.

+1 In the sweeps month, you see both ABC15 and CBS5 doing it. Occasionally, 12 News will do it if there is something related to Phoenix on NBC (e.g. sports events).

A college graduate from an accredited university. Sure, it might matter if my diploma is from Harvard or Arizona State University. Still a college graduate.

If I'm at a party or wine tasting, I say I'm a news anchor from a network-affiliated station in a major market.

:)
