Generally, they have nothing to offer to me. I've worked an ABC affiliate.
One can see "Funniest Videos" for so long. Same with the hybrid "Video" now offered.
I come across the Sunday TV grid from the Republic and it shows a syndicated Shield is now on KNXV?
A pleasant surprise. Let's take a look.
I'm watching it as I type. It's close to the original, except for the barter that pops up during crucial scenes.
The money train hasn't been taken down yet. Obviously it's from season one.
Subject matter goes down hill from there (meant in a good way...it gets GRITTY).
The language has been cleaned up a tad, but still gritty.
Stick to the original. Get the real feeling of the series.
Kudos to KNXV for signing up.
Outside of Deadwood, Shield is one of the better series out there, IMHO.
