I live within the theoretical KNZR coverage area here in the SFV. Albeit the signal here is not quite 0.5 mV/m.Are you sure you weren't hearing something else? What you're describing seems highly irregular.

Or more likely it had something to do with the fact that Americano Media, the company that was providing programming to 1560 hasn't been paying its bills and Alpha ditched their programming.Im guessing they got some serious uproar from the conservative ultra maga types who used to listen to 1560

I need to do more digging, but it appear's Americano's "flagship", Audacy's 790 WAXY Miami is playing music now...
Well, now, I feel slightly stupid - especially since I tried to make a joke that appears to have fallen totally flat. I was trying to play othe comment from @Weiserguy at 12:24 pm regarding the Jewish holidays. I wrote Ladino - otherwise known as Judeo-Spanish, spoken by some of the descendants of the diaspora from Spanish oppression of Jews in the 15th and 16th centuries - rather than Latino. No harm intended; no harm done; but the comment was to comedy as the Shaggs were to music. They did. As mentioned in the first post, it’s an effort to do right-wing talk aimed at a broad base of Hispanic voters. David pointed out why it wouldn’t work. Still, it appears KNZR gave it two months or less and pulled the plug. It’s over.
They are. Just tuned in via Audacy and they're playing "Sé Me Fue" by El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico. Maybe they're going for a Tropical Oldies format? Either way, a flip is on it's way.Or more likely it had something to do with the fact that Americano Media, the company that was providing programming to 1560 hasn't been paying its bills and Alpha ditched their programming.
