KNZZ on 1100

Anyone in Lotus-land heard from anyone about hearing KNZZ on 1100? Yesterday (about 5p) coming from Green Valley to the strip, I was actually having trouble hearing PMS for the liners for KNZZ out of western Colorado. Just wanting to let you know about it!

Thanks for reading!

Kev, We are aware of the KNZZ problem from Grand Junction. They are 50 KW days, 36 KW PSA and 10 KW nights. Remember that KWWN 100 LV is running on program test authority at half power. Our final full power authorization should come through any day now. (The paper work has been in the FCC hands for a weeek or more). A soon as we get to full power things will get some better, and immediately thereafter we will be taking measurements towards Grand Junction, San Fran and Phoenix, all of which have 50 KW stations on 1100 that we now must protect. If we can prove significantly less ground conductivity in those directions, the FCC will likeley allow us to increase our coverage in those directions. Fear not, we are working our butts off to give you the best possible coverage consistent with what the FCC wil permit!

I figured y'all knew about it, but wasn't one hundred percent sure. Other than that, all sounds cool over there! Sorry you have to redo all the celebrity liners... I know how much of a pain that can be. Nicely handled for the time being, though, condensing a few together with the VOG doing the 1100 bit. No more Doug Henney (?) "The sports listener" though. That had to be one of the best liners anywhere, ever!

Thanks for reading!
