KOA 850

Just wanna say you guys got a pretty good news/talk station there(I'm recieving it via good old Skywave tonight in OC CA) Pretty good news coverage of the local and national news events for Denver and such. Similar to how KFI handles things out here.

Again, just giving props where it's due.<P ID="signature">______________

Yes, KOA does what they're supposed to do very well. If you are trying to find something out about local stories/issues/etc. you know they'll be talking about it, whether on one of the shows, or in a newscast.

Indeed, but I don't understand why they had to pick up FOX News when KHOW isn't much less conservative and ABC News is a much better product.

It was a corporate decision. All of CC's big news/talk stations had to pick up Fox News Radio. It's because Premier (a CC Company) distributes it.

Sure, but Glenn Beck, Dr. Laura (formerly a Premiere show), and Coast are on KHOW. When you're in syndication, its markets that matter, not really stations. But I understand FNR is CC's new thing, and they have to put it on every stick they have.

Although not reliably, KOA 850 Denver gets out to Florida at night. Awesome job!

Ron is south of Jacksonville, in Palm Coast. I never heard 850 when I was at WTIR in Cocoa, but i did catch it several times from NW Mississippi.
