Kobe Bryant, Basketball great, at 41

His funeral is being broadcast on ESPN, Telemundo (in Spanish), BET, NBA TV, CNN and MSNBC.
Jeers to the big 3 networks. Why was The View, TPIR and Hoda Kotb more important than the funeral for one of the greatest basketball players of all time? Locally it's being aired on the L.A. stations, but not nationally. Should have been Special Reports, no doubt.
Beautiful funeral so far, especially Alicia Keys playing Moonlight Sonata. However multiple technical problems plaguing the 2nd half, especially during Shaq's speech. ESPN ended up cutting out for a couple minutes.

there will be some tributes to Kobe this weekend from NASCAR as they race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA this weekend for their annual race in the SoCal area. Ryan Blaney will drive a Body Armor sponsored #12 in Laker colors, as Body Armor is a sports drink that had Kobe investing in it before Coca-Cola bought the brand out. also Daniel Suarez will wear special race gloves in Lakers yellow with 8 & 24 on it in the race, and RCR who currently has the 8 car will have a Kobe tribute decal on the 8 car driven by Tyler Reddick, also the Auto Club Speedway infield grass will have a 24 patch painted in tribute to Kobe and will do tributes to Kobe and Gianna and the other victims of the helicopter crash during pre-race celemonies before they go racing Sunday. also there's rumors that a Kobe Bryant tribute scheme will be on the #24 Axalta Chevy driven by William Byron will be raced at that race too, the #24 is owned by Hendrick Motorsports and has been associated with another famous champion who made the number famous, Jeff Gordon, who drove that car from his debut at the 1992 Hooters 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway to his retirement as a full time driver at the end of the 2015 season and won the 1995, 1997, 1998 and 2001 Cup Series title and the 1997, 1999 ad 2005 Daytona 500 in that 24 car for HMS.

Now there is a report that Kobe Bryant's family is suing the helicopter company over the handling of the crash.

I have heard about that they are suing over his death, but not sure about the case as while they owned the helicopter, how much are they really responsible for it crashing, as you remember at the time of crash there was fog in the area, which I am sure had to make it hard for the pilot to see.
