KOFY 1050 AM 1986 Aircheck

I listened to the Nifty 10-50 while visiting on a weekend in the San Francisco Bay Area. I called the station and they said they were doing great. They had plans to expand hours of operation, Djs and power. I guess the format didn't work with the advertisers... I liked the old jingles though and the music was fabulous. They reminded me of the old KEWB CHANNEL 91 that I grew up with. Thanks for sharing the clip. I may have an old cassette somewhere with more of KOFY during the weekend visit...

James Gabbert is the "Radio Format Genius" when it comes to Radio,, this guy is great! In 1979-1980, he had KIQI,,1050 AM, the Time Machine, and had two of 1260KYA's legends on the air,, Steve Jordan, and the late Bill Holley !!!!!!!
