He's still on the KMBZ website so I'd assume this is going to be yet another out-of-towner passed off as a local show?

Thank God Cliff Albert axed Bryan Suits. He was ABSOLUTELY horrible. He never has ever been able to knock the ball out of the court with his shows....notwithstanding his HORRIBLE vocal mannerisms.

I'm kind of curious why KOGO would pick someone working out of KC when I think a more logical choice would have been picking John and Ken from KFI, especially since a lot of their issues are very SoCal oriented, they are entertaining to listen to, etc.

Unfortunately, KOGO still comes off as the news/talk radio station which your parents would listen to...as interesting as cream of mushroom soup.
 
What's fascinating is usuallly they are given six months to eastablish the show..Has it been six months? It looks like this Merrill show is just a rerun. That speaks volumes on how bad the financial situation is at KOGO. LaDona cant cut it against Roger so that's the real reason why the change was made

With Bryan Suits as a lead-in, no one could cut it.

Today they had some guy named Schnit filling in: from back east, sounding like he attended the Rush Limbaugh School of Inflection.

KOGO Changes

I've only been listening to KOGO for about 6 months, but I enjoyed the lineup. I'm listening to Chris Merrill right now and I have to say he is much different than any of the other on-air talent. I'll give him a chance....he is kind of funny.
 
In the first 30 minutes: Candy-ass. Butt-diddled. Whale's vagina. Boobies.

Merrill is definitely different from what went before him. I'm not sure if he didn't walk into the wrong studio to do his show (KIOZ?).

sounds like more out of town potty talk...how soon before we hear the words "pissed off" coming out of his mouth I think they should have got michael savage.......
 
Cant they put Michael Savage instead.

KOGO is losing it's maket and bringing in outside help isn't helping.
Merril isn't going to cut it. John and Ken would work better
Suits was okay, I like his KFI show on Sundays
I'll listen to Hedgecock on KFMB until Albert gets his head out

Another "great" decision by the great Cliff Albert. Stupid is as stupid does. Damn it, he should be shelved with all of the retired stuff.
