KOGO, KNX & KFBK - HD off

KFBK has dropped HD broadcasting recently, day and night. Audio is back to full 10khz, and is again clear and
loud. Its probably temporary at KNX and KOGO, two diehard HD proponents. On KOGO, the Hedgecock audio
feed is incredibly bad, and mixed with the digital noise, really reaches a new low for AM audio quality.
At KNX, you can actually hear the vocal S's now, instead of the "spittiness" when HD is on.And speaking of
KNX, when they were C-Quam stereo, the only time stereo was heard was on some spots with music. I never
heard 2 mikes being active.

Well if KOGO sounds bad call Jimmy Steele he set up the processing for all 7 of the CC stations. KOGO did sound decent, KPOP sounded better though when it was on the air.

KOGO seems to have theirs back on.
KNX, last I checked an hour ago, was off I think, but then I don't usually get a strong signal off their buzzsaw.
I'm too far out of KFBK's groundwave coverage (almost 500 miles) to hear if they have theirs back on yet.

I get KCBS, and on good days (typical of this time of year), KOA Denver on HD pre sunrise. Not a sustained signal in HD. KSL 1160 is also a good catch.

Yes, KOGO had returned to the dark side of broadcasting (thx tfcwings). Thursday night, 6 to 6:15 pm, KNX was switching HD on and off, and
left it on again for....someone?? KFBK still on with clean 10khz audio....
