Would it make a difference if KOGO doubled its power to 10kw at the same pattern or not just wondering.
 
To what "difference" are you referring?

It would probably make some difference in city-grade coverage.

It would probably make no difference in the Book ;)

To be specific I say to increase to 10kw, to hear the station in a bullding in downtown L.A.
along whith the HD-2 signal.

I just saw a map posted in an article over at http://www.sdradio.net , that suggests from illustration that KOGO's signal hugs the coast line, with most of their signal going out to sea. So I guess it would depend on where in L.A. the building is. From my own experience, here in Lubbock land, I find that local AM stations have a difficult time penetrating offices in brick and cement towers, especially because of all the CPU and wifi equipment. It sorta creates a hash all it's own.
