What kind of delay is there with the live streaming. The two Clear Channel stations that I have listened to in Phoenix (KYOT and KNIX) have a 75 second delay from the actual on the air to what you hear on the live stream.

THat's typical. It depends on server traffic, encoding, how many hops it takes for the signal to get to your ISP, etc.

What is there to listen to anyway? A traffic sponser followed by NO traffic problems? Breaking news followed by more breaking news? Anyway, A 24 hour newscenter station is a station like KNX, not KOGO!!

NO, it's not working.... And I'm not talking about a "Delay"
NO firewalls here...
It's one thing if occaisonally I can not connect. But I am not able to connect to KOGO or KLSD this mornig at 9:25 CT, and this seems to be habitual. What good is listen live if you can never listen live.
Yesterday afternoon I was forutnate enought to be able to hear Mark Larsen. But here I am again this morning, I click the listen live link, the little window comes up, tries to connect, then says "Ready" and nothing happens.
If you ask me (and you didn't), that's no good.
I am sorry to be crowing about this, I am just frustrated. At some point, I'll guess I'll have to call or email someone at CC San Diego about it.

G-Dawg, the entire CCU chain did change the URL a couple of months ago. If you were accessing them outside of the webpage and using media player, winamp, or quicktime, the url is broken.
However, screamin' streamin' from the webpage is fine.
Mark Larson would appreciate you dropping the 'e' in his name.

Where does this post of yours relate to relevant radio conversation? If this response had been posted by someone else, you'd have threatened them with being banned or killed the thread. You can't have it both ways. It can't be "Do as I say not as I do" can it? I am not attacking you, I am just trying to understand what your role as a moderator consists of. I mean what is your purpose here. You tend to talk down to a lot of people and make a lot of threats. Maybe I just don't get it. It's not this way on boards where you are not a moderator. That leads me to believe that you follow your own version of the rules. If I am wrong, please feel free to inform me as to how I am. Is it all of the other moderators who are slacking off on enforcing the rules?
